Game Notes
Chicago with an INT on first play of the game, followed by 6 play drive that stalls out on the 8 zone. Sack by Hulett snuffs out Saskatoon's second drive. SSK DL Lopez crushes RB Crawford, stunning him and dropping a zone - but a solid 5 pt drive for CHI. Next drive for Saskatoon features long run from Culver, couple of sneaky passes and a huge collision between Craig and Culver at the goalline, with Culver sneaking in for TD. 18-13 Saskatoon on turn 19. CHI WR Washington breaks free for 5 pt gain but LB Lehamnn with a run stop - CHI is up 20-19 on T21. Saskatoon burns a blitz and Cluver takes a screen the distance on a one play drive that gives CHI the ball back, needing a TD to win! CHI marches the field (XP4, XX12, XP8, PR12) supported by Collins and Washington to take the lead 33-32 with one play left...RR12 - Culver runs for 6 pts to seal a thriller for Saskatoon... One of the most fun gridzone games I've played.
