Star Connecticut LB Lance Heard did everything he could to contain Jamarr Culver, but Culver found other spots on the defence to abuse, pancaking DB Pearson 2 times. Home field advantage came up 3x for Saskatoon as the dice were only favouring the same matchups on quite a few occasions.
Joyner made a goaline stop and fumble recovery and the game hung in the balance at T15 - but Saskatoon turned on the running game and made a big pass stop at the right moment.
Culver ended up rumbling for 20 zones as Saskatoon wins 44-19.
